Sales Manager / Revenue Manager / Front Office Manager
Job Summary:
The Sales & Reservation Executive is responsible for managing guest reservations and supporting sales efforts to drive revenue in the hospitality business. This role involves responding to inquiries, converting leads into bookings, maintaining reservation systems, and assisting with group and corporate bookings. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure a seamless booking experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:Reservations:
Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms promptly and accurately.
Input and manage bookings in the Property Management System (PMS).
Ensure all guest information is complete and accurate, including payment details and special requests.
Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
Monitor room availability and apply overbooking strategies or restrictions as per revenue management guidelines.
Maintain reservation records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly occupancy reports.
Sales Support:
Assist in identifying and responding to corporate, group, and travel agency inquiries.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts for groups, events, or long-term stays.
Follow up on leads to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Support marketing campaigns and promotions by communicating offers to potential clients.
Participate in hotel site inspections and client meetings when required.
Maintain client databases and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in reservations, front office, or sales within the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or Cloudbeds).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and email correspondence.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.
