Identify and prospect new HORECA clients (hotels, restaurants, cafes, caterers).
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
Generate leads and close deals for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with F&B managers, chefs, and procurement heads.
Understand specific client needs (quality, volume, delivery) and offer tailored solutions.
Provide excellent after-sales support and handle complaints/concerns promptly.
Product & Market Expertise:
Possess deep knowledge of fresh produce, including seasonality and quality.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
Conduct product tastings/presentations to showcase quality.
Operations & Coordination:
Communicate client orders and requirements to purchasing/logistics teams.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Manage order fulfillment, stock availability, and quality compliance.
Reporting & Administration:
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
Maintain accurate sales documentation, manage collections, and control credit.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven sales experience in fresh produce/foodservice.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Knowledge of the HORECA sector and fresh produce.
