Job Description

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale clients, understanding their needs, solving problems and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Regularly engage with customers to address any concerns, provide product information, ensure the payment and gather feedback to enhance service delivery. Assign and manage Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with each customer to ensure alignment with desired targets. Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and relationship management. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to meet customer demands and increase sales.

New Business Development:



Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wholesale sector to expand the customer base. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to capture new accounts. Develop customized strategies and building blocks to achieve the company's vision and sales targets.

Product Knowledge:



Stay informed about our product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities. Provide comprehensive product information to customers, addressing inquiries and promoting the benefits of our products. Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations with clients.

Sales Tracking and Communication:



Track all sales activities in the company portal system and regularly update account information. Communicate customer product pain points to relevant departments for prompt resolution. Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the overall sales effort. Collaborate with merchandise supervisors to align on-ground activities with the company strategy.

Reporting and Analysis:



Perform cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential customers. Analyze the market's potential and provide regular reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food distribution industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of the wholesale sector and key players in the food industry in KSA.

Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
