Job Brief:

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Executive with a passion for driving business growth? If so, you are the one we are looking for!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities for ship chandlers, oil & gas, marine/maritime/construction tools/materials.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with construction projects, sales teams, retailers, and B2B clients for electrical, safety products, sanitary materials, tools, and hardware. Collaborate and engage with purchasing teams of key clients. Maintain strong relationships with major customers from Oil & Gas, Marine, Vessel Owners, MEP & Civil Contractors, and Facility Management sectors. Prepare and submit sales quotations, aligning with company pricing policies and seek approval and extend to customers. Follow up on quotes, orders, deliveries, and client satisfaction to ensure smooth operations. Handle logistics (import/export), coordinate material deliveries, and follow up on payments. Maintain accurate records, ensuring regular reporting to management. Keep confidential records of suppliers, manufacturers, and clients. Stay updated on supplier pricing and product developments through regular communication. Generate monthly and annual sales reports

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

Any Bachelor's degree. Must be fluent in English. Min 3 years of experience in procurement with ship chandlers or marine industry? Strong understanding of Marine/Oilfield (Onshore & Offshore) supplies. Prior experience with Ship Chandlers, trading companies, and direct vessel supplies. Hands-on experience in quoting, price negotiation, and price comparison. Knowledge of UAE suppliers for building materials, hardware, tools, safety items, plumbing, and sanitary ware. Knowledge of major brands in tools, safety equipment, building materials, and consumable hardware. Ability to understand customer requirements, procure quotations, and submit competitive offers. Familiarity with the oil & gas, marine, and construction sectors (MEP & Civil Contractors, Facility Management, etc.). Extensive supplier knowledge within the UAE and international markets. Strong relationships with local manufacturers and suppliers.
