Job Description

We are seeking a motivated "SALES PLANNER" to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting sales, analyzing market trends, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting the sales team with strategic planning and data-driven insights. This role ensures that sales targets are realistic and achievable by aligning demand planning with supply and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales team input. Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and competitor activities to support planning. Monitor product demand, pricing, and promotional effectiveness. Collaborate with the sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align strategies. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning reports. Identify sales gaps, risks, and opportunities and suggest corrective actions. Support budget planning and target setting for sales departments. Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability in line with sales forecasts. Use ERP and data analytics tools to generate insights and optimize planning accuracy. Provide support in planning product launches, promotions, and seasonal sales strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in sales planning, demand forecasting, or commercial analysis. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Good understanding of sales cycles, market dynamics, and supply chain coordination. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
