About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter to join the F&B team at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Responsible for achieving Group\'s room revenue, C&I revenue budgets across all segments. Contributions towards revenue budgets in F&B, SPA and others ancillary departments. Responsible for driving MICE and fostering relationships with business clients, DMC, travel agents and consortia agencies to maximize revenue. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, to effectively manage and network existing accounts and to identify and develop new business opportunities.

The main responsibilities are:
  • Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.
  • Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts.
  • Establish client base of individuals, organizations (DMC, EMC), associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive offerings, and potential clients.
  • Using Knowledge of market trends and target customer Information to maximize revenue
  • Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Responsible for 100% account penetration by establishing close relationships at all levels within the assigned accounts
  • Gains understanding of the location\'s primary target customer and service expectations serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solutions.
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include all hotel departments.
  • Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients. Entertain clients in accordance with established company and hotel.

  • Create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to showcase our MICE service.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our venue or destination.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends using CRM systems and other tools.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • Proficient in spoken business English.
  • Any additional language would be a plus.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
  • Minimum 4 year experience at 5* luxury hotel within Sales Department.
  • Sales & Marketing university degree.
