For one of our prestigious clients, a leader in the Oil and Gas industry, we are seeking a Sales Manager - Engineered Product Trading to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAE

PRINCIPAL RESPOSIBILITIES

Expand existing product portfolio by adding new vendors, prequalifying, validating and registering products with clients To identify sales leads, identify new clients, bids for different supplier products. Preparation & Follow up of Technical /Commercial bids to clients Achieve sales targets and profit margins through closure of sales deals with existing / prospective End Users, EPCs & OEMs. Own the account strategy for the assigned accounts and communicates to Business Unit Manager regularly Designing and implementing a marketing strategy, sales plan, arranging seminars along with Principals Visits to client installation sites to understand the technical requirement and support them in executing offered solution Coordinating & executing customer orders for Engineering Products Trading Preparing, submitting and obtaining clients approvals on technical documentation as part of customer orders/projects Supervise payment follow-ups by Accounts Receivables Executive and ensure DSO as per the assigned target. Effective Inventory Management to have a balance between customer requirement and Financial cost associated with inventory Handling & resolving customer complaints and any other issues. Preparing sales report, sales forecast for the department and contribute to growth. Expand current product range and achieve sustainable growth with new vendors. Actively contribute to CRM system & update the data base regularly to aid in the strategic decision making for the team. Regular Meetings with vendors to plan strategies and review performance. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Employees Ensure that the employees understand the vision, mission, and values of the company. Ensure that employees under their supervision have a Job description that reflects the expectations of the management from the position held Ensure, at the beginning of the year, that employees have been assigned challenging goals and that they are aware of the management expectations, along with the set deadlines Monitor, every quarter, the achievements vs objectives assigned to the Department managers to strengthen coaching and/or eventually adjust the goals initially set, considering the current environment Create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and a commitment to do things right the first time. Ensure that the employees are provided with the relevant training and materials needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently, in line with their job descriptions, in coordination with the HR Manager / Partner Conduct employees' performance appraisal reviews on at least an annual basis. Ensure that the employees carry out the operations in strict respect of the policies. To this effect, ensure that each employee must fill in an annual compliance statement before the year-end. Hold a regular meeting (at least once a quarter, or as per the local regulation) jointly with the HR Manager / Partner with employees representatives to strengthen the social climate and to improve effectiveness and efficiency at work Financial Management Responsible for the administrative part of the entity across the Company, ensuring complete adherence, promptly highlighting any deviation from the plan, and taking corrective action as necessary and in line with the approved governance process. Work closely with the Business Unit Manager to consolidate reporting department's budget input to formulate the department budget and submit it to leadership for approval and further consolidation. People Management Guide direct reports, mentor, and coach them when necessary. Identify talent for pivotal roles from a succession management standpoint to ensure business continuity and liaise with HR for enrollment in the necessary program Formulate workforce planning reports and talent acquisition plans and budgets for the department to ensure adequate employees for optimal operational smoothness and submit them to the leadership for approval Hold regular meetings with the employees to strengthen the social climate and improve effectiveness and efficiency at work.

Required Qualifications Engineering degree in any discipline. MBA in Marketing & Sales will be an added advantage. Sales experience of 10+ years in Technical sales with at least 3 of those years in a sales leadership position. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing sales above market growth rate in the UAE and established relationship with clients in various industry segments in UAE such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, Power, Manufacturing and Aviation.
