Sales Manager - Automotive Dealership Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry, particularly in launching new brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating factory operations, devising effective sales strategies, and executing branding and promotional activities. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics to drive the successful launch and growth of our new automotive brand. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales team in developing and implementing strategies to launch and establish the new automotive brand in the market.
  • Coordinate closely with the factory to ensure seamless production, timely delivery, and quality control of vehicles, while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to develop compelling brand positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of promotional activities, including advertising, events, sponsorships, and dealer incentives, to generate excitement and drive sales.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, and other key stakeholders to expand the brand\'s presence and reach.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and key initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales team members to enhance their skills, performance, and effectiveness in selling the new brand.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a focus on launching new brands and products.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong understanding of factory operations, production planning, supply chain management, and quality control processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, branding initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
