Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused

Sales Executive

to join our building materials shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, generating sales, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring excellent service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist walk-in customers with inquiries and product selection. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable building materials (e.g., cement, steel, tiles, paint, plumbing items, etc.). Prepare and issue sales quotations and invoices. Follow up with customers to close sales and ensure satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, prices, and promotions. Coordinate with the inventory team to check product availability and delivery schedules. Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and individual clients. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked with relevant materials. Report customer feedback and competitor activity to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus). Proven sales experience, preferably in building materials or hardware. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of construction materials and their applications. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Basic computer skills (MS Office, billing software, etc.). Local language proficiency; English is an advantage.

Work Environment:

Retail shop setting with regular interaction with customers and suppliers. May involve lifting or moving heavy items occasionally.
