Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough understanding of our bakery products, including ingredients, prices, and promotions. Offer recommendations and suggest complementary products to enhance the customer experience.
Store Maintenance:
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times. Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment and displays as needed.
Promotions and Sales:
Actively promote current sales, specials, and loyalty programs to customers. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, especially in a bakery or food service environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations accurately.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
