Job Role: Sales Executive (NVOCC)

Job Location: Dubai, U.A.E.

Responsible for developing strategies to improve sales and effectively handling customer complaints.
Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs.
Target per Sales person is USD.75,000/- per Vessel revenue and 20 x 20\xe2\x80\x99 & 20 x 40\xe2\x80\x99 HC per vessel
call. This has to be achieved without any excuse. In addition RORO bookings also have to be secured.
  • Everyday leave office by 9:30 hrs in the morning for sales call, Minimum 5 calls per day and to be back in office by 14:30 hrs, in case of delay in returning, inform the office.
  • Correspondence, Quotation and day\xe2\x80\x99s visit report to be done in the afternoon.
  • Prepare and submit sales weekly visit plan every Sunday, Abu Dhabi to be included in the visit plan every week. Discuss with fellow sales team the customer being visited on that particular day.
  • Telesales with regular clients is important. It builds up relationships, and the more familiar you are with customers, the more comfortable they will be with you and are bound to give better support.
  • Regular Sailing schedules of Messina to be sent to the customer on every Monday.
  • Client List / visit to be updated daily after returning to office in the afternoon.
  • Good communication skills between all sales team are required, this helps to build a strong team and which in turn helps to achieve targets.
  • RORO reports to be sent every Monday by COB.
  • Import / Cross Trade Sales leads to be sent daily, at least a minimum of 2 daily.
  • Friday Meeting at 15:30 hrs, held weekly hrs to discuss weekly sales, performance, etc.
  • Take care of handling clients when quoting verbally ensure same is followed up with writing an email.
  • Take care of the clients who use gmail or web email IDs. With them insist on taking advance payments.
  • Reporting to be done on regular basis.
  • Rates to be quoted to customer handed over. For better rate request from Sales Manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor degree or Degree in Sales, Marketing, communication or equivalent attested by UAE ministry.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working as Asst. Sales Manager.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong Leadership Qualities.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Highly organized.
  • Knowledge and experience using effective sales strategies.
  • Good command over Arabic and English communication ( Oral and written )
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Strong critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize.
