Job Description

JOB ROLE Responsible for achieving the set growth targets through distribution and quality merchandising, in line with the brand objectives in the assigned outlets/Territory. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Key Deliverables: List the main tasks, duties and responsibilities which the role holder must deliver to achieve the agreed objectives

  • Responsible for achieving the Sales, distribution and visibility objectives in line with the brand objectives for the set of assigned outlets.
  • Responsible for merchandising and implementation of Planogram for the products in the assigned outlets.
  • Negotiate with customers in order to ensure effective and timely implementation of the monthly priorities.
  • Ensure prompt listing of new products in line with the POP objectives
  • Responsible to ensure timely submission of monthly statements to the assigned customers and cheque collections as per the due dates.
  • Ensure stock replenishment through timely order processing and close coordination with the logistics delivery team.
  • Responsible for maintaining Factbook containing Sales Vs Targets, MSL List, Planograms, Customer and Trade Information etc.
Performance Indicators: Parameters that will access the achievement of the objectives
  • Sales: Target Vs Achievement (BIW)
  • Distribution: Distribution Tracker, Audit, Market Working Report
  • Visibility: Market visits, Audits, Visibility Agreement Sheets
  • Market Audit/ market feedback reports
  • Monthly priorities tracker sheet (done by the TDM)
  • NPD Tracker, MSL
  • Customer Ageing Report
  • Distribution Tracker/ Audit Report and Market working
  • Updated Factbook

External Contacts Customers Education Bachelors Degree Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales in the GCC in a similar role
  • Experience in self-service or traditional trade formats
  • Graduate degree
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the FMCG distribution business
  • Basic MS office skills, Basic Arabic language
  • Oman Driving License
  • The candidate must possess the knowledge of sales proposal preparation.
