Our hotels bring people together. We\xe2\x80\x99re searching for a Cluster Sales Executive capable in managing government sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan.

Every day is different at IHG, but you\xe2\x80\x99ll mostly be:
  • To achieve budget and sales strategy for the hotel. To develop and maintain contact with business generators, government departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business. Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place. Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in region and the regional reservation office.
  • To proactively create and convert revenue opportunities for the InterContinental Abu Dhabi from qualified corporate key accounts by planning and executing sales activities based on strategies and financial targets (hotel revenue, room night goals) outlined in the Hotel\xe2\x80\x9fs annual Integrated Business Plan (IBP).
  • Collection of data about possible target groups in the region, by consulting regional/local news media, company registers etc., by setting up presentation stands at fairs and company contact days.
  • Compose tenders, confirm agreed arrangements.
  • Continue to actively orient on sales opportunities of the hotel the city/ area/ region.
  • Keep track of market trends and create strategies and tactical where needed.
  • Stay up to date about the competing hotels.
  • Plan visits with existing/ potential clients on a regular basis as set in KPO, to build trust and gain major market share. Brickwall relationship by entertainments, joint calls as set in KPO Be up to date about all marketing programs
  • Educating and informing contacts about facilities, amenities, features, prices, and rates based on the presentation folder and price information.
  • Identification of needs and considerations of contacts and translate them into a suitable offer
  • Execute daily/ weekly reports. Attend Industry Exhibitions to represent the hotels in front of prospect clients.
  • Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business.
  • Initiates and prepares tenders for business. Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business.
  • Services existing business through management of account bases. Manage Accounts and ensure the constant generation of new corporate prospects for self.
  • Conduct client interviews to touch-base feedback and create future opportunities.
  • Entertain clients three times minimum per week to break the ice / promote the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s facilities and to grow relationships.
  • Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections.
QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree / higher education qualification.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in in a five-star environment in the same role.
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. Must speak English. Other languages preferred
