Job Description

Work within the sales and marketing department to promote the hotel and generate maximum revenues. Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Establish new business and maintain existing business accounts through the preparation and execution of action plans.
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • Make lists of potential clients and conduct surveys to identify customers actively seeking a hotel
  • Contact customers via calls or arranged meetings to discover their needs and requirements
  • Prepare and present sales proposal to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the hotel
  • Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate service that best meets their specifications and needs
  • Oversee the booking and reservation of space in a hotel to ensure availability and proper arrangement
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure clients have a good time
  • Monitor the customer service quality of the hotel to ensure customers are tended to appropriately
  • Conduct price negotiations with customers on behalf of the hotel management to reach a favorable bargain for both parties
  • Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and to discuss opportunities for future business deals
  • Set annual budgets and implement strategies effective for achieving set targets
  • Conduct assessment of sales performance to make necessary adjustments to increase patronage.
  • Participate in planning sales strategy and implement tactics to achieve budget.
  • Submits weekly sales reports, business-generated reports, and weekly call planner to the Director of Sales.
  • Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/Convention Bureau travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments, and other producers closely allied to Hotel Business.
  • Work in line with business requirements.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Experience and Skills
  • With Hotel Sales Executive experience in GCC
  • Preferably Arabic Speaking
  • Computer Literate in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
