Developing the ocean freight sales ensuring increased profit per customer Assist in securing new business Responsible for selling Freight Forwarding services for Imports and Exports Recording sales and order information to assist the business expansion Supporting the sales teams to secure new business by sharing market and rate information to drive growth across the different modes of transport Responsible for promoting company services in the Freight Forwarding industry Visiting clients where required Generate action plans to enhance performance Develop and maintain relationships with customers and clients Work alongside the operations team keeping informed of client plans and challenges being faced Organizing marketing plans Co-ordinate with liner's principals to secure best rates Co-ordinating with WCA partners and overseas agents for securing best rates for logistics business and also for smooth operation of secured business.

Skills Required: Requires BS/BA in related discipline. Background in Freight Forwarding/Shipping/Liner and Logistics, at least 3 years experience in Ocean freight sales preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, commercially, proactive mindset as well as quality focus Highly effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills IT literate/digital savviness, with experience from working with MS Office, CRM systems preferably Salesforce Experience in reading and analyzing customer data Very strong organizational skills High degree of self-confidence, initiative, and commitment Customer centered and oriented Bahrain market knowledge Familiar with Bahrain customs regulations and Bahrain international port & airport rules Sound understanding of international shipping documentation. IT literate including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ideally Cargo Wise OOCL experience will be an added advantage.
