Our client is a leading enterprise open source solution company serving customers across the Middle East and Africa, as well as in Southeast Asia. Their key objective is to enable large organizations to embrace open source software to meet their digital transformation goals. Currently, over 50 leading enterprise class organizations have taken our client\'s solutions offerings around modern Database, Microservices, cloud, and Analytics.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Executive (Database, Big data) to join our team of resellers of open-source enterprise software. The salesperson will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of open-source software and the ability to articulate its benefits to potential clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate new leads and identify potential customers through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our open-source enterprise software.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring maximum profitability while meeting their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to showcase our products and services, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Enter and maintain accurate sales records and customer information in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in software sales or related field, preferably in the open-source enterprise database software industry
  • Strong understanding of open-source database software and its benefits in an enterprise environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with a diverse range of clients.
  • Previous experience in consultative sales, with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven and target-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to succeed and exceed sales goals
  • A bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
