Job Description

Basic Function: a~ Responsible for working towards achieving the annual sales target with the assistance of Sales Manager & Sales Associates by setting up strategy to find new prospects and sales leads and converting them into customers. a~ Responsible for handling customer inquiries, preparation and sending out of quotations and proposal and exercise its best endeavour to close those opportunities into Sales Order. Responsibilities: a~ Handling day to day sales activities including but not limited to customer questions, inquiries, order variations, order cancelations, and complaints. a~ Liaise effectively and efficiently to both customer and supplier to achieve the desired technical and commercial information as part of the proposal and bid submission and able to negotiate on commercial terms. a~ Ensure that all submitted proposals are in accordance with company commercial policies sales margin criteria. a~ Ensure that submitted proposals are in the best position to win the bid. a~ Acknowledging Purchase Orders received from client and processing it to the successful suppliers. a~ Collaborate with Logistics department to ensure that timely delivery to client is met. a~ Exercise its best endeavour to meet the monthly/ annual sales targets. a~ Building and maintaining CRM data base. a~ Participating in Sales Team Meetings. a~ Ensure that customer satisfaction standards are achieved and maintained. Personal Attributes: a~ Self-disciplined, self-motivated - requires minimum supervision, well organized with good follow-up skills; a~ Excellent communication & negotiation abilities. a~ Goal oriented. a~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Desired Qualification: a~ Proven excellent work experience in Sales with 5+ years of experience is a must. (Having general trading experience is an advantage); a~ Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment that is fast-paced and subject to frequent change and to work effectively as a member of a team and share best practices, as well as a strong individual contributor; a~ Keeping abreast of the competition, its people, and products; Competencies: a~ Integrity and Trust, Peer Relationships, Self-development, Situational Adaptability, Optimizes Work Processes, Plans and Aligns & Collaborates, Ensures Accountability, Communicates Effectively, Problem Solving, Self -Esteem.
