The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of turnkey water and wastewater treatment solutions, focusing on key sectors within the MENA region. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in technical sales, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience working across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive the sales of turn key, infrastructure and project sales for water and wastewater treatment systems in line with company targets.
2. Identify and secure new business opportunities using market intelligence and prior regional experience.
3. Manage the complete sales cycle -- from lead generation to closing -- across assigned sectors.
4. Contribute actively to meeting annual sales targets and supporting overall business growth.
5. Ensure maximum profitability and consistent sales pipeline.
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in industrial, municipal/government, oil & gas, and hospitality sectors.
- Understand and address specific water treatment needs for each client.
Technical Sales Support
Offer technical expertise and consultation to clients during solution development.
Recommend products and systems tailored to clients' technical requirements.
Proposal & Estimation Support
Collaborate with estimation and proposal teams by providing detailed technical input, client budgets, cost breakdowns, competitor information, target prices, and timeline expectations.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and competitor offerings within the MENA region.
- Identify emerging opportunities and provide strategic input.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with proposal, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Align cross-functional efforts to maximize client satisfaction.
After-Sales & Customer Support
- Provide end-to-end client support -- from pre-sales to post-installation follow-up.
- Address technical queries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
