for Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Nuclear, Marine, and EPC sectors. We support international OEMs and service providers with
market entry, local execution, and project delivery
across the UAE.
Role Overview
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for
business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation
for Vortexen's industrial service lines, including
Online Leak Sealing (OLS), coatings, fire stopping, maintenance services, and OEM representation
. The role requires strong technical understanding, local market knowledge, and the ability to convert opportunities into profitable projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in
Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Utilities, EPC contractors, and Industrial facilities
Promote Vortexen's
technical services and representation capabilities
to end users and contractors
Generate leads through
direct visits, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, events, and referrals
Achieve assigned
monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Technical & Commercial
Understand client technical requirements and propose suitable
engineering solutions
Coordinate with OEM partners for
technical inputs, data sheets, and proposals
Prepare and submit
technical & commercial proposals
, RFQs, and presentations
Support pilot projects, site visits, and technical discussions
Client & Market Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with
maintenance managers, engineering heads, procurement teams
Track enquiries, follow-ups, and deal stages in CRM
Conduct market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and new technologies
Support vendor registration and prequalification activities where required
Internal Coordination
Coordinate with operations, HSE, and technical teams for project execution
Ensure proper handover from sales to execution teams
Support management with sales reports and forecasts
Candidate ProfileEducation
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
or related field
Experience
Minimum
3-7 years
of sales or business development experience in:
Oil & Gas / Power / Utilities / EPC / Industrial Services
UAE market experience is
mandatory
Prior exposure to
maintenance services, coatings, leak sealing, fire protection, or industrial products
is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong
technical understanding
and solution-selling capability
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and close deals
Proficiency in
English
(Arabic is an advantage)
Valid
UAE driving license
