Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation
with
2-3 years of experience
in
control and communication product sales
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business development, customer engagement, and technical sales of automation and networking solutions across the UAE and GCC markets.
This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in
industrial control systems, communication networks, and OT security
, combined with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell
industrial control and automation products
from
Schneider Electric
, including
PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and drives
.
Develop sales of
industrial communication and networking solutions
from
Belden (Hirschmann)
and
Softing
, including
managed Ethernet switches, industrial gateways, wireless communication devices, and OT security products
.
Identify and pursue business opportunities across
energy, utilities, smart infrastructures, and manufacturing
sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with
system integrators, OEMs, and end-users
to strengthen C3 Automation's market presence.
Conduct technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and client meetings to promote products and solutions effectively.
Technical Engagement and Solution Support:
Understand customer needs, project requirements, and operational challenges to propose tailored automation and communication solutions.
Collaborate with internal
application and technical teams
to ensure technically and commercially optimized solutions.
Prepare detailed
technical and commercial offers
, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer expectations.
Market Development and Coordination:
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity tracking in CRM systems.
Coordinate with operations, logistics, and technical departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Participate in
marketing and promotional activities
, such as trade shows, seminars, and workshops, to increase brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering
.
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in
industrial automation or industrial networking product sales
.
Strong technical understanding of
PLCs, SCADA systems, RTUs, industrial Ethernet, and OT security products
.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as
Modbus, Profinet, OPC UA, and MQTT
is an advantage.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
with a customer-centric approach.
Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven individual with strong problem-solving abilities.
