The Sales Enablement Lead is a key member of the Growth & Development function, playing an integral role in driving strategic growth across Wood. This position is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive sales enablement plan that empowers customer-facing teams to deliver exceptional value and achieve business objectives.
The role focuses on creating impactful, brand-compliant sales materials and resources tailored to multiple sectors, ensuring alignment with Wood's overall business strategy and market growth priorities. By enabling sales and technical teams with the right tools, content, and training, the Sales Enablement Lead helps improve win rates, strengthen client engagement, and accelerate revenue growth.
Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a sales enablement plan aligned with business objectives, market priorities, and growth strategies.
Work with business groups and business development to create enablement plans that support external sales objectives.
Support the development and lead the delivery of business group key messages.
Content Development & Management
Create and maintain high-quality, tailored sales materials, including presentations, brochures, case studies, and other client-facing content.
Take complex, technical topics and turn them into compelling content to drive external sales.
Collaborate with marcomms, creative services, and external partners to innovate content and channels.
Ensure all sales activity and collateral are brand-compliant, consistent, and aligned with broader business and group plans.
Training & Development
Design and deploy training programs that enhance the effectiveness of sales in articulating value propositions and delivering key messages.
Strategic Client Engagements
Manage and deliver strategic client engagement activities such as seminars, workshops, and networking events to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Manage cross-functional delivery projects, including developing content, project plans, and schedules.
Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Customer Value Proposition
Help ensure the articulation of consistent and meaningful customer value propositions for service lines and capability offerings within the wider business context.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar sales enablement, business development, communications or marketing role, preferably within the energy industry, but not critical.
Experience with Sales Enablement platforms such as Showpad is preferable.
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of regional enablement initiatives.
Deep understanding of customer value propositions, market dynamics, and internal/external stakeholder needs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proofreading and editing capability.
