We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Representative to lead our efforts in expanding our presence in the African market. This role involves conducting a comprehensive market study, developing a business plan, and generating reports to identify opportunities for selling hardware items, building materials, construction items, and machine tools across the African continent.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand the African market landscape.
Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive growth in the African market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for selling hardware, building materials, construction items, and machine tools.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
Prepare detailed reports on market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth in the African region.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the African market.
Strong understanding of the hardware and construction industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within Africa as required.
Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to adapt to different cultural and business environments.
