About the Role
SEGULA Technologies Middle East is hiring a
Sales & Business Development Manager - Defence (UAE / GCC)
on behalf of a key client in the defence sector.
We are looking for an experienced business developer with deep knowledge of the UAE/GCC defence ecosystem, strong government and industry networks, and a proven track record leading complex pursuits from opportunity identification to contract award and long-term sustainment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business development activities across the UAE and GCC, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation, award, launch, and sustainment.
Engage effectively with key defence stakeholders, including Tawazun, UAE Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces leadership, and major local industry partners.
Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with MMC's regional objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and program offices across the defence ecosystem.
Navigate and manage GCC defence-procurement processes, offset programs, industrial participation requirements, and contracting frameworks.
Prepare market assessments, capture plans, proposals, and pricing inputs in coordination with internal technical and commercial teams.
Represent MMC at industry events, governmental meetings, and strategic forums.
Qualifications
Fluency in Arabic and English
(spoken and written) is mandatory.
Former UAE Armed Forces or Government experience
strongly preferred, with proven ability to communicate confidently at senior levels.
Minimum
10+ years of experience
living and operating in the UAE/GCC defence sector.
Demonstrated success managing defence-business pursuits and winning complex programmes.
Deep understanding of regional procurement laws, RFP processes, evaluation criteria, offsets, industrial participation, and defence contracting norms.
A well-established
senior network
across the UAE MoD, the Armed Forces, Tawazun, and significant defence/technology companies.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to travel within the GCC as required.
