The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the UAE travel market and be confident in managing client relationships, converting leads into bookings, and supporting operational tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Outreach & Sales:
Reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, and social media platforms.
Respond promptly to inquiries and provide travel recommendations tailored to customer needs.
Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into bookings.
Promote agency services to new and existing customers to achieve sales targets.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue opportunities with corporate and retail clients.
Maintain and grow a network of contacts in the travel and tourism industry.
Assist in developing and executing marketing and outreach strategies.
Represent the company at networking events, travel expos, and meetings when required.
Customer Service:
Deliver professional and personalized customer service throughout the travel planning and booking process.
Manage post-booking support, including itinerary changes, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Operational & Administrative Support:
Prepare quotations, travel packages, and booking confirmations.
Coordinate with suppliers to arrange flights, hotels, transfers, and visa services.
Support invoice generation, payment follow-ups, and record keeping.
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in a travel agency or related role in the UAE.
Strong sales and customer service track record.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic is a plus).
Familiarity with travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre) is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and manage a diverse workload effectively.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and goal-driven attitude.
Existing client network in the UAE travel market is a significant plus.
