Join our Industry team within Flow Equipment division in Morocco as Sales and Tendering Engineer to help us develop the North African market to the next level.
SULZER Morocco is recruiting a Sales & Tendering Engineer, based in Casablanca, to develop prospect segments related to Industry BU (Mainly Fertilizer segments)
Reporting to our Sales Coordinator, your role is to Identify the needs, get inquiries and develop our orders, initiate Sales on new Customers and develop Sales in existing Customer base.
You will be accountable for:
  • Preparing quotations (careful reading customer’s specifications, selection of adequate products, TOA, 10 GR, COSP, PA, STARS, Salesforce, price calculation, quotation making with precise deviation list, etc.)
  • Quotations follow up and reporting (Salesforce)
  • Negotiating and participating in clarification and kick off meetings
  • Orders (acknowledgement, clear syntheses, launching (SAP), delivery time follow up, invoices & payments follow up, warranties opening & follow up)
  • Follow up of projects from tendering to financial closure
  • Maintaining and executing customer order backlog for assigned territories/accounts
  • Coordinating with sales representatives (direct or indirect), warehouse and factory staff on shipments to customers; expedites orders as needed
  • Reporting and communicate customers information. Entering and maintain database records (Salesforce) of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports
  • Assisting Management on reporting (budget, rolling forecast, MBR and the like)
  • Bringing all ideas and suggestions to increase Sales effectiveness
  • Participating in and actively support company initiatives
  • Application of LEAN directives and communicate with the Team

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Diploma in engineering and Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in similar industry (preferably Multinational company)
  • Fluency in Arabic and French is absolutely necessary. Fluency in English preferred
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Strong negotiation skills; Problem solving and conflict management
  • Ability to work independently but remain team focused
  • Ability to effectively manage schedules and deadlines while prioritizing
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills
  • To be familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact
  • To be familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
