Property Consultant Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the property
- Work with property owners, property managers, rental agents, and contractors to ensure that properties are properly maintained and compliant
- Observe tenant relations, conducting routine inspections
- Manage emergency procedures
- Partner with other departments, such as maintenance and accounting, to ensure efficient operations
- Negotiate vendor contracts and purchase orders
- Develop performance review tools
- Help create and implement property development strategies, including market research, site selection, financial analysis, and new product introduction
- Review and appraise land, buildings, improvements, and properties to determine feasibility of development
- Develop development plans for properties, including specifications, budgets, marketing, and financing
- Develop asset and portfolio management plans
- Conduct market research and market analysis
- Design floor plans and site plans
- Conduct market research and market analysis
- Develop portfolio risk management strategy
- Develop capital budgeting strategy
- Develop cost benefit analysis
- Identify market opportunities
- Develop product/service line strategy
- Develop sales/marketing strategy
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, real estate, or related field
- 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 proven experience in real estate sales or property management
- Experience in leasing, marketing, and tenant/landlord representation
- Strong knowledge of local zoning, real estate practices, and market conditions
