Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our sales data and strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for transforming raw sales data into actionable insights, tracking performance metrics, and providing critical support to the sales leadership team. Your work will directly influence our sales strategy, optimize processes, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports and dashboards (e.g., in CRM, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Track and analyze key sales metrics (KPIs) such as conversion rates, sales cycle length, pipeline health, win/loss rates, quota attainment, and regional performance.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the sales pipeline and historical performance.
Forecasting & Planning:
  • Support the sales leadership in creating accurate and data-driven sales forecasts.
  • Assist in the annual and quarterly planning process, including territory design, quota setting, and capacity planning.
  • Analyze the accuracy of past forecasts to improve future modeling techniques.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness through data.
  • Ensure data integrity and hygiene within the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to streamline reporting processes and automate manual tasks.
Strategic Support:
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, such as new market entry, product launches, and pricing strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions from sales managers and executives.
  • Create presentations that clearly and concisely communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis role.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, charts).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) and a strong understanding of sales processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis concepts and tools (e.g., R, Python, regression analysis).
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts (e.g., revenue recognition, CAC, LTV).
