Overview:
To manage and grow customer accounts by ensuring timely delivery, and optimal product availability. This includes maintaining proper credit and cash collection, forecasting van loads to prevent stockouts, executing pricing and promotional guidelines, and achieving best-selling positions in stores. The role also involves analyzing past performance, monitoring stock levels, presenting tailored order suggestions, and capturing competitor activity to maximize sales and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Review and understand sales development objectives
Review routing schedule including any off-schedule visit
Review previous delivery performances for scheduled customer (volumes sold, % returns, order fill rates)
Review distribution center (DC) stock availability of top SKUs, innovation guidelines for new products and on-going promotions campaigns
Review point of sales stock levels and out of stock in order to define a suggestion
Present suggested order to the customer, discuss objectives and adjust order accordingly
Obtain bestselling position in the account
Capture competitor presence and store execution when requested
Ensure pricing guidelines are fully executed
Ensure proper Credit management and Cash Collection from Accounts as well as cash deposits
Oversee Truck Loading Daily and forecast Van load needed to complete day without going out of stock
Ensure MSL is sold to every account
