Position: Salad Chef (Garde Manger - Salads Section)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Salad Chef (Garde Manger) to take full responsibility for the preparation and presentation of high-quality salads and cold dishes. The ideal candidate should possess strong culinary skills, creativity in flavors and presentation, and a deep understanding of ingredient freshness and seasonal combinations.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
Additional training in cold kitchen or Garde Manger is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on salad preparation and cold appetizers.
Experience in hotels, fine dining restaurants, or large-scale catering operations is preferred.
Skills & Responsibilities:
Expert in preparing a wide variety of salads, dressings, and cold starters using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Skilled in modern and traditional salad recipes, including international styles (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, fusion).
Responsible for daily mise en place, portion control, and consistent presentation.
Ability to create appealing and innovative salad presentations for a la carte service and buffets.
Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in the cold kitchen section.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients following food safety regulations (HACCP).
Creativity & Passion:
Passion for healthy, flavorful, and visually appealing food.
Ability to contribute new ideas to the menu and seasonal updates.
Teamwork & Communication:
Work efficiently within a team and collaborate with other kitchen sections.
Ability to train and guide junior staff when needed.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
