Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury pr\xc3\xaat-\xc3\xa0-porter in a 1966 collection called \xe2\x80\x98Rive Gauche\xe2\x80\x99, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women\xe2\x80\x99s and men\xe2\x80\x99s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.
Mission
To support the Communications team in raising awareness about the brand through Marketing, and Public Relations. The right candidate will have a deep and broad understanding of the Media and the luxury landscape, be hands on and show the capacity to build, and develop various networks.
Main assignments
Responsibilities:
Assisting the PR team in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns.
Conducting research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media outlets to identify potential opportunities.
Assisting in the coordination and execution of instore events
Maintaining media contact lists
Monitoring media coverage and preparing weekly reports on PR efforts.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Assist in updating current activities with stores and internal functions.
Conducting regular analysis of PR campaigns to measure their effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement
Assist in managing the PR Showroom
Assist in communication activities reports
Assisting in invoice organization and recording, ensuring accurate and timely processing of PR-related expenses
Profile
Recent university graduate with a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Media or other related majors
UAE residency visa holder under family sponsorship (mandatory requirement)
Fluent in English; Arabic or french is a plus
Regional market knowledge and interest in Fashion and Luxury industries
Committed to excellence and detail oriented
Dynamic and pro-active, resilient with a can-do attitude
Well trained in Microsoft office programs
Time-management and Organizational skills.
