Safety Officer - Logistics and Warehousing Dubai
Role Summary
Emirates Logistics LLC is hiring a proactive and experienced Safety Officer to oversee Health and Safety operations across our logistics facility in Dubai. This position is ideal for candidates with NEBOSH/IOSH certification and a passion for maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse and transportation environments. The role includes live-out and food allowances, making it suitable for those residing off-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce Health & Safety (H&S) procedures within the logistics facility
• Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions
• Ensure workers wear appropriate PPE and follow site safety protocols
• Prepare and maintain H&S checklists, incident reports, and audit records
• Support emergency preparedness by leading evacuation drills and maintaining exit routes
• Oversee and replenish first aid kits, and provide basic first aid when required
• Collaborate with supervisors to uphold discipline and a strong safety culture
• Conduct safety inductions and periodic training sessions for all staff
• Supervise high-risk tasks and recommend improvements in waste management and hygiene

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar HSE role
• Physically fit and alert with strong observation skills
• Effective communicator with people management and MS Office proficiency
• A team player with a proactive and safety-first mindset
