We are currently seeking an experienced
Safety Officer
with a solid background in
infrastructure projects
, particularly those involving
excavation work
and
risk assessments
. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that safety standards are maintained on-site and that potential hazards are identified and mitigated.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards on infrastructure sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, especially in excavation zones.
Develop and implement site-specific safety plans.
Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site personnel.
Maintain proper documentation of safety procedures and incident reports.
Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to implement corrective actions.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in infrastructure or civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of
excavation safety
and
risk assessment procedures
.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.
Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and observation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
