As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a

competent and experienced Safety Officer

who can uphold international safety standards on complex, vertical construction sites.

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and promoting a safe working environment on

high-rise construction sites

, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and international safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor site activities to ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and project-specific HSE plans Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards in high-risk areas such as scaffolding, lifts, cranes, and formwork zones Carry out risk assessments and prepare method statements in coordination with project engineers Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety drills tailored to high-rise site risks Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions Ensure all workers, subcontractors, and site visitors adhere to PPE requirements and safety protocols Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, incident logs, and safety training programs Coordinate emergency response and first aid procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience

as a Safety Officer, with

at least 3 years specifically on high-rise building projects

Valid

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)

- Mandatory Additional certifications preferred:

OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety

Working at Heights

Scaffolding Safety

Confined Space Entry

First Aid/CPR

Strong understanding of

UAE HSE regulations

, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense safety requirements for high-rise sites Proven experience handling tower cranes, mast climbers, lift shafts, and other vertical construction elements Excellent communication, reporting, and incident management skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strict safety compliance standards Physically fit and alert, capable of navigating active high-rise construction sites Must be currently available in the UAE and ready to join immediately or within short notice
