? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the UAE. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being of our workers and maintaining a safe and compliant worksite.

?Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on site.

Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.

Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to workers and supervisors.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.

Maintain all HSE documentation and reports as per regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to promote a safe work culture.

Ensure workers use correct PPE and follow proper safety protocols.

Liaise with authorities during site inspections or audits.

?Qualifications & Requirements:

?Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

?Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry in Main Contracting Company in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi

?Certifications:

?NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) is a mandatory requirement.

?Knowledge of ADPHC/OSHAD standards is essential.

?Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are highly desirable.

?Skills:

?Strong knowledge of construction safety principles and best practices.

?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate personnel at all levels.

?A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

?Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

?Ability to work independently and under pressure.

?Other:

?A valid UAE driving license is a plus.

?Salary & Benefits:

AED3,500 - 4,000 per month
