We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Train employees on safety procedures and emergency response.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Develop and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, safety manuals, and training records.
Collaborate with management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial setting.
Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
