Safety Officer with experience in high-rise building construction.
Job Purpose:
To ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company HSE policies, relevant legislation, and best practices on the construction site. The Safety Officer will monitor site activities, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate safety training to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the construction site, equipment, and materials.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly HSE reports to the project management team.
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Organize and deliver safety induction sessions and ongoing training for all site personnel.
Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and used correctly.
Liaise with government and regulatory bodies regarding safety inspections and compliance.
Keep up to date with legislation and best practices in occupational health and safety.
Promote a strong safety culture and lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Certified Safety Officer (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction safety.
Good knowledge of UAE labor and safety laws (or local regulations if outside UAE).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations efficiently.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
