Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor company safety policies and procedures in compliance with UAE and international regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop safe work plans and permit-to-work systems.
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records.
Support emergency response planning and conduct drills.
Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors regarding safety compliance and inspections.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems.
