We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Safety Engineer (Civil)

to ensure a safe working environment across our construction sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within the civil construction sector in the UAE. A valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage due to site mobility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on construction sites. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and local regulatory standards. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and induction programs for workers and subcontractors. Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to enforce safe work practices. Maintain HSE documentation including permits, inspection reports, and safety records. Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear. Promote a proactive safety culture and continuously improve site safety performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of safety-related experience in the UAE construction industry. Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or other recognized HSE training is mandatory. In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and best practices in civil construction. Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills. Strong leadership and ability to enforce safety standards at all levels. UAE Driving License is an added advantage.

Preferred Attributes:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple site locations. Familiarity with safety reporting software and Microsoft Office tools.
