Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Engineer with a Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on civil construction sites and promote a culture of safety among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

:

Implement and monitor the safety plan for civil construction projects.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safety compliance.

Ensure all workers and subcontractors follow proper safety protocols and wear PPE.

Prepare and update risk assessments, safety reports, and incident investigations.

Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for site personnel.

Liaise with project engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.

Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor safety laws and construction safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, etc.).

Maintain safety documentation and records as per project and legal requirements.

Investigate incidents/accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

:

Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred).

2-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in civil construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction safety codes, practices, and statutory regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
