Safety Engineer: B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering with NEBOSH & min 3 yrs. UAE experience in Construction field.

Responsibilities:

Implement Safety Policies:

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Risk Assessment:

Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Training and Awareness:

Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees, promoting a safety-conscious culture within the organization.

Incident Investigation:

Lead investigations into incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.

Safety Audits:

Perform regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites, equipment, and facilities to ensure adherence to safety standards.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about local and international safety regulations and ensure the company's compliance with relevant standards.

Safety Communication:

Facilitate communication regarding safety issues, providing regular updates and reports to management and project teams.

Requirements:

? B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

? Proven UAE experience (Min 3yrs) as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.

? NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.

? Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is an advantage.

? Knowledge of local safety regulations and international standards.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to conduct training programs and awareness campaigns.

? Proficient in incident investigation and risk assessment.

? Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
