Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Safety Engineer

with at least 2 years of experience in workplace safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring that operations meet local and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine safety audits and inspections across job sites. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and local safety regulations. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety protocols. Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans. Collaborate with project managers and department heads to foster a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a safety or HSE engineering role. Familiarity with EHS software and reporting tools. Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard control principles. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards. Experience in the construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors. First Aid and Fire Safety training certification.
