Job Description

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, procedures, and systems to ensure a safe working environment. The role involves identifying hazards, assessing risks, and providing technical support to maintain compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs across the organization. Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety audits for projects, sites, and operations. Monitor compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and management to integrate safety measures into operations. Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Maintain records of safety performance, incidents, and regulatory compliance. Recommend improvements in processes, equipment, and practices to enhance safety. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all teams.

Qualifications:



2+ years of experience in safety engineering, preferably in [industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas, manufacturing]. Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.

Pay: From QAR3,500.00 per month
