A&M International is currently seeking a
Safety Engineer
with at least
5 years
of practical experience in occupational safety within construction projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety systems and standards to ensure a secure and compliant work environment for all employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce occupational health and safety (HSE) procedures at project sites.
Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace safety analyses.
Follow up on incident reports, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for workers and staff.
Coordinate with site teams to ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines.
Prepare daily and weekly safety reports for regulatory authorities and internal supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field).
Minimum of
5 years
experience in a safety role within construction projects.
Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is a strong plus.
Solid knowledge of UAE safety laws and regulations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
