Function

Accountabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Compliance Lead in all matters related to regulatory compliance activities.

• Initiate and arrange meetings with UK Competent Authority as considered necessary.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Knarr OR&A function, with regular interaction with UK HSEQ and Compliance Manager

Responsible for initiating, preparing and submission of the Petrojarl Rosebank FPSO Safety Case, including close-out of any non-acceptable issues (NAIs).

• Responsible for ensuring activities to establish the Safety Case is carried out. This includes activities internally by AIP, Contractor and Client.
• Assist in the execution of the initial suitability Verification Scheme. This includes activities internally by AIP, Contractor and Client.
• Assist in activities to establish the in-service Verification Scheme. This includes activities internally by AIP, Contractor and Client.
• Coordinate involvement from project team, base organisation and operations, including required safety representatives.
• Assist project members and contractor(s) as considered necessary to ensure necessary understanding of requirements for the Safety Case.
• Initiate development and implementation of compliance training materials and programs for project members with support from contractor.
• Other duties as required by the Compliance Lead \xe2\x80\xa2 Travel to project locations as required

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrable experience of managing safety cases in UKCS (Either in operations or development and delivery of safety cases)

• Previous experience in working with OMAR (formely OSDR)

• Technical education on bachelor level or higher within working area

• 10+ years\' experience within offshore industry including application of a Safety Case

• Thorough understanding in UK Regulatory Compliance regime with the offshore industries is required

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with third party representatives and external stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple ongoing matters at once

• An organized and systematic approach; attention to detail \xe2\x80\xa2 Committed to the highest level of integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different offices and countries \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
