Safety and Security Supervisor – role will primarily be responsible for;

Safety and Security Supervisor – role will primarily be responsible for;
- To manage in the absence of the Safety and Security Manager the department according to the established standards providing a safe, secure, courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hotel Standards of Performance.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of reports/documents, release information only to authorized individuals.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions in timely manner.
- To maintain legible and accurate records of all documents to include Security Log, incident report, Key Control, Lost and Found and Visitor Passes.
- To continuously maintain and service all equipment related, or assigned, to the security department, as specified in equipment manuals.
- To be flexible with work hours, regardless of time, during day, or night, in order to personally facilitate security arrangements of cases that require special treatment and handling.
- To handle guest and associates inquiries and report complaints or problems to Safety and Security Manager if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
- To provide access, when required, to high-risk areas, exercising vigilance for the protection of assets and to secure the area when access is no longer required.
- To control access to crime/natural disaster scenes in order to preserve evidence while awaiting the arrival of authorities
- To continuously monitor installed safety systems for emergency readiness and to patrol public areas, restaurants, guest floors, offices, plant rooms and all other areas of the hotel.
- Ensure that Fire Exit doors are kept free of blockage at all times and ensure that fire and safety equipment’s are in their right places and they are operational.
- To be alert on potential safety and security hazards in the hotel, suggest remedies and follow up on rectifications.
- To conduct daily shift briefing to security officers on all events and special attention that is needed. Also to train the team to ensure they follow the Hotel policies and Procedures.
- To be fully conversant with every detail of the hotel layout and the location and functions of Sprinkler system and smoke detectors, Firefighting equipment and emergency exits, Fire control room and fire panels, Emergency evacuation procedure / public address systems, Emergency assembly area, Fire and bomb threat and security procedures, elevators emergency and First aid equipment.
- To handle investigation and make unbiased incident report on all claims involving thefts, accidents, injury, property damage, vandalism and trespassing from either guests, visitors or Associates to the Management.
- To supervise all aspects of key distribution and control according to policies and procedures of the hotel and to report any discrepancy immediately to Safety and Security Manager.
- To monitor and control the movement of all associates leaving or entering the hotel through the associate entrance.
- Be proactive and review all risks in Engineering, Housekeeping and all other departments in the hotel.
- Respond to accidents, contact Emergency and Medical Services or administer first aid/CPR as required.
- Check and challenge all unauthorized or suspicious persons within the premises in a polite and professional manner at all times
- To establish a smooth working relationship with local authorities Police/Civil defence and identify and liaise with them all required regulations and activities in the absence of Safety & Security Manager
- Minimum 5 years UAE experience in security field with experience certificate
- Should ideally be certified by SIRA and holding Security Supervisor License with previous experiences preferably with a hotel Security.
- Must have attested academic documents with minimum requiement high school
- Be familiar with local rules and regulations
- Should Have Basic computer Knowledge with Report Writing Skill
- Expereince in Occupational Health and Safety field is an advantage.
