The Safety & Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that TIM Aerospace maintains the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and our internal policies. The position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's Safety Management System (SMS) and Compliance Monitoring System (CMS). Working across departments, the role will proactively monitor performance, conduct audits and investigations, and foster a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of the SMS and CMS in line with EASA Part-145 and industry best practices
.Conduct routine safety and compliance assessments, inspections, and internal audits.
Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
Investigate incidents, occurrences, and non-compliances; compile investigation reports with recommended corrective actions.
Support and deliver safety and compliance training and awareness programmes across the organisation.
Collaborate with operational leaders and act as a point of contact during audits and regulatory inspections.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure internal documentation and practices remain compliant.
Prepare safety and compliance reports, including safety performance indicators, for management review.
Promote a strong safety culture through open reporting, continuous improvement, and leadership engagement.
Ensure ongoing compliance with TIM Aerospace policies, procedures, and applicable international aviation standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Aviation Management, Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience in aviation safety and/or compliance within a maintenance or operational setting.
Knowledge of EASA regulations including Part-145, ICAO Annex 19, and other applicable international standards.
Certified SMS professional and/or Lead Auditor qualification is preferred.
Practical experience with safety investigation, internal auditing, and risk management processes.
