The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal expertise across banking, compliance, and government relations. Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal expertise across banking, compliance, and government relations. Responsibilities:
- Banking Legal Advisory:
- Provide comprehensive legal support to the bank\'s operations in the UAE, ensuring compliance with Russian and UAE banking laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to banking transactions, including loan agreements, security documents, and financial contracts.
- Compliance Management:
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with banking activities.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable laws and regulations.
- Government Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with relevant government authorities in the UAE.
- Represent the bank\'s interests in discussions with government officials, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Transaction Support:
- Provide legal guidance on various banking transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Conduct due diligence on potential clients and partners to assess legal risks and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Handle legal disputes and litigation matters related to banking operations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and represent the bank in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the bank\'s internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure that policies align with legal and regulatory standards in both Russia and the UAE.
- Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions for bank staff on legal and regulatory matters, promoting a culture of compliance and awareness.
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- Extensive experience practicing as a lawyer with a focus on banking, compliance, and government relations.
- Fluent in Russian and English languages.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE banking laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
