and have hands-on experience operating laboratory testing equipment used in rubber manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing of raw materials, rubber compounds, and final products using:
Rheometer
(curing characteristics)
Tensile & Elongation Testing Machine
Mooney Viscosity Meter
Hardness Tester (Shore A)
Density, Rebound, Compression Set
, and other relevant tests
Accurately record and report test results.
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment regularly.
Coordinate with the production and quality departments to provide feedback on compound performance.
Follow safety procedures within the lab environment.
Adhere to ISO 9001 standards and rubber testing standards (ASTM / ISO).
Requirements:
Diploma in Polymers
(mandatory).
Minimum
2 years of experience
in a rubber testing laboratory.
Proficient in operating and maintaining the above-mentioned test equipment.
Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze test data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
Experience testing incoming raw materials and verifying compound consistency.
Basic understanding of adjusting formulations based on test results.
