What you'll be doing:

As a Quality Lab Technician for Readygips, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing product quality, maintaining ISO documentation, and preparing daily and monthly quality reports. Key responsibilities include conducting lab tests to meet international and company standards, managing raw material quality control, and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.


You will also organize and store chemicals safely, plan and monitor product trials, and analyze competitor products. Additionally, you will support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams, and maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities are:

Update the shift report in the excel file for each product daily. Take sample and analyse the quality parameters of final product. Fill the necessary ISO documents and report any quality issues. Preparation of monthly reports for calcination quality parameters and Readygips. Daily preparation of calcination quality report. Ensure the availability of laboratory supplied via inventory and inform line manager about order requests 8 weeks in advance. Organising and storing chemicals/additives according to safety instruction. Recording all trials/experiment data and test results. Planning and monitoring product trials. Control all supplied raw materials according to the quality standard. Ensure cleaning process of the line during product change or shutdown. Ensure calibration of each equipment/tool and verification of the equipment/tools. Performance of lab test according to different test methods like Bacterial test, Crack resistance, Abrasion etc. to ensure the given specification by the international standard as well as for Knauf standard are achieved. Analysis and preparation of reports from competitor products. Carry out the drop test for liquid additives after every new line start (after shutdown). Observe and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Updating KQMS system (Knauf Integrated Management). Attendance is required of one of the 3 level meeting of Continuous Improvement (CI). Maintain and follow Continuous Improvement (CI). Effective, quick and timely communication between Q.C team, Shift leaders, different station operators, maintenance technicians etc. Ensure all tools, machineries, records etc. are kept back in the designed place and workplace is cleaned and tidy after each shift. Record quality data on specified ISO forms. Archive all findings and update all procedures according to the quality standard.

Capable of performing occasional heavy lifting as needed.
