Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Road and Infrastructure Engineer to plan, design, and oversee the construction and maintenance of roadways, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, experience with infrastructure design software, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop road networks, intersections, drainage systems, and related civil infrastructure in accordance with local and international standards. Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess soil conditions, terrain, traffic, and other relevant data. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software. Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and government agencies to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards. Assist in tender preparation, technical evaluations, and contract documentation. Perform quality control and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum of [X] years of experience in road and infrastructure design and construction. Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.). Strong knowledge of design codes (AASHTO, ASTM, BS, or local standards). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with sustainable and green infrastructure practices. Familiarity with GIS and transportation modeling software. Knowledge of local permitting and regulatory processes.
